Richard Zweig, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology, and Director of the Ferkauf Older Adult Program minor/concentration within the Clinical Psychology Program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». He is also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³».
Dr. Zweig’s current research is focused on relationships between personality pathology, depression, emotion regulation, and social functioning in older adults. Recent research interests have also included risk and protective factors related to psychopathology and functional decline in older adults, and doctoral level training in mental health and aging. Teaching interests include integrative clinical assessment, and the assessment and treatment of older adults. His publications and presentations have focused on the following themes: inter-relationships of personality, personality pathology, depression, emotion regulation, suicidal risk, and social functional impairment in older adults, as well as gero-psychology training.
