Dr. Donald Estes received his PhD in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After a postdoctoral fellowship at Illinois, he worked in the defense and aerospace industry in Los Angeles, first at TRW, Inc. and then at RDA Associates, an offshoot of the Rand Corporation. He then returned to academia, becoming an adjunct instructor at the City University of New York, New York University, and Barnard College before joining 麻豆传媒映画 in 1999 as a laboratory instructional specialist. His research interests are in chemical education and biophysical chemistry. He is the faculty advisor of Stern College's student affiliate chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and a referee for the Journal of Undergraduate Chemistry Research. Dr. Estes is a member of ACS and Phi Beta Kappa.
