He has worked at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» since 1996 in various capacities. Dr. Nissel earned his BA in psychology from SUNY Purchase and his MS in school psychology and his PsyD in school-clinical child psychology from Pace University. He is a NYS certified school psychologist and a licensed psychologist. As Title IX Coordinator, Dr. Nissel is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Title IX compliance, including regular updates to the policy, student education about Title IX and the policy and ensuring that all aspects of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s procedures and policies are followed in a caring and compassionate manner, at all times. Adrienne received her BS in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond and her MS degree in Campus Public Safety from New England College. Adrienne has worked in the Title IX field for eleven years and is a sought-out speaker on topics such as understanding consent and the sexual victimization of traditionally aged college students. She also has a background in investigations of sexual misconduct, serving as an external investigator for colleges and university across the country in Title IX inquires as well as having served as a police officer prior to that conducting criminal investigations into the same offenses. At Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», Adrienne is focused on addressing and responding to reports of sexual harassment, including sexual violence and intimate partner violence through the lens of Title IX. Adrienne is also the mom of three, one of whom is currently in college. Joe studied forensic science at John Jay College and received his MBA from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». As Associate Dean, Bednarsh oversees the student experience at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», student success, athletics, and the COVID Team. Dean Bednarsh has been involved with Title IX at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» since 2005. Besides being a Title IX generalist, Joe works with cases involving equity in athletics, student-athletes, and both graduate and undergraduate Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» students. Jennifer KimDeputy Title IX CoordinatorSpecializing in cases involving Cardozo Law School studentsjennifer.kim@yu.edu (646) 592-6421Jenn Kim is the Dean of Students and Associate Dean of Student Services & Advising, Diversity & Inclusion at Cardozo School of Law and has been at Cardozo since 2015. Prior to Cardozo, Dean Kim co-taught at the University of Baltimore School of Law’s Family Law Clinic, where she supervised students in their direct representation of clients subjected to abuse in family law matters. Dean Kim is a graduate of Brandeis University and earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School, where she was actively involved with the Criminal Justice Clinic’s Boston College Defenders. As Dean of Students, Dean Kim oversees the Office of Student Life, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and Office of Academic Success. She has been involved with the Title IX Office at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» since 2020. Dean Kim has received training in conducting investigations and the recent changes to the Title IX regulations, and works on cases involving students from the law school. Renee CokerDeputy Title IX CoordinatorSpecializing in cases involving employees renee.coker@yu.edu 646.592.4336Wilf Campus, BH 806Renee Coker is the Senior Director for Talent Management & Equity Compliance in the office of Human Resources. In her capacity in HR, Renee educates and coaches employees, administrators, managers and supervisors in a variety of areas. She received a BS in finance from SUNY Old Westbury and an MPA in Human Resources Management/Operations Management from CUNY-John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She holds certifications from Cornell University ILR School in EEO and Diversity & Inclusion Management. Renee is focusing on addressing and responding to reports of sexual harassment and sex discrimination involving employees.
