Celebrating Dr. Shalom Holtz’s New Publication

Book cover for Contextualizing Jewish TemplesOn Tuesday, April 20, 2021, the Multidisciplinary Department of Jewish Studies of the Faculty of Jewish Studies at Bar-Ilan University in Ramat Gan, Israel, and the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Center for Israel Studies celebrated the publication of Contextualizing Jewish Temples (The Brill Reference Library of Judaism 64), edited by Dr. Shalom E. Holtz (professor of Bible and associate dean at Yeshiva College) and Dr. Tova Ganzel (head, the Cramim Honors Program in Jewish Studies at Bar-Ilan University). Greetings were given by Dr. Yaron Harel (dean, Faculty of Jewish Studies) and Dr. Steven Fine (director, Center for Israel Studies) along with remarks by Dr. Yigal Levin (head, the Multidisciplinary Department of Jewish Studies) and the editors.
