The Graduate Program in Advanced Talmud/Tanach Studies (GPATS), at 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Stern College for Women, is a two-year masters program that provides women an opportunity for post-college, high-level study to further their growth in Torah knowledge and skills. There are two tracks within the program: GPATS Scholars serve as powerful role models for Modern Orthodox women and are instrumental in the advancement of Torah knowledge. The GPATS Program has recently added a Shana Gimmel (third-year) to the program and look forward to finding more opportunities for women who choose to stay for the additional years of learning and growth. GPATS alumni are the female leaders and educators of today and tomorrow, and our mission is to create more female scholars and role models for the next generation. While enrolled in GPATS, students engage with different groups & programs to refine their teaching and presentation skills as well as contribute to the Torah scholarship of different communities. PARTNER WITH US! GPATS encourages students to pursue opportunities at synagogues, schools & other Jewish institutions. 鈥淪cholar-in-Training鈥 Shabbaton with GPATS $200 per student, with transportation & hospitality Bring GPATS Student to your synagogue for an enhanced Shabbat of learning & teaching. A group of 2-4 students will visit your community for a Shabbaton of teaching. Each student will deliver at least 1 shiur or the drasha (after davening). GPATS/麻豆传媒映画 Faculty can also be invited to teach for added honorarium(s). Visit /gpats/about/faculty-staff 鈥淕笔础罢厂-颈苍-搁别蝉颈诲别苍肠别鈥 $250 per monthly visit, with transportation & hospitality Bring a GPATS Student to your synagogue on a monthly basis and the community will benefit from an additional Torah scholar who has been educated at the highest level and who will offer a fresh perspective on Torah scholarship. One student will visit your community once a month for Shabbat. In collaboration with the rabbi of the synagogue, the student will prepare and present multiple classes and share Torah in different venues over the weekend. Students develop relationships with the members of the community and receive feedback and mentorship. Community Shiurim $200 per shiur per student, with transportation (when applicable) GPATS Students teach all ages for synagogues, schools, camps, organizations etc.. Invite a GPATS Student to teach a class in-person or on Zoom, one-time or recurring. WHY PARTNER WITH GPATS? Bringing GPATS students to your synagogue or school represents an acknowledgement by the Modern Orthodox community that women play an important role in imparting Torah knowledge.
